A Strategy is Only as Good as Its Implementation.
Soft Facts Matter.
Many companies – their managers and employees alike – are often overwhelmed these days. An ever more complex and dynamic environment, the ever-increasing competitive pressure and the obligation to constantly change present them with a whole set of new challenges. They are starting to realise that yesterday’s solutions are today’s problems. That old success patterns, management approaches and tools are no longer viable. They are realising more and more that the company’s performance is no longer sustainable and can no longer be increased.
Therefore, we focus on the question: How can the necessary transformation processes be mastered in order to acquire the skills necessary to be successful in this VUCA-world and to further develop in the age of digitalisation?
We are observing that most companies are too focused on optimising the outside world towards the customer – optimising their strategy, structures and processes. This is essential, but not enough in order to attain a top performance and sustainable success. In a digitalised world, corporate culture and thus the organisations’ ability to adapt and change determines their survival and future viability.
Studies have shown that the corporate culture has a significant impact on an organisation’s financial performance. Around 40 percent of the profits generated by a company can therefore be attributed to the social competence of their management (Kienbaum). It is therefore crucial to gain an external perspective on the market in order to broaden the internal perspective on employees and the corporate culture.
With this in mind, our consulting approach to corporate and organisational development is based on the latest findings of high-performance organisations as well as their schools of thought, their methods and their tools. In addition to the hard facts, we are also aiming for the development of soft facts (Soft Power) in order to enable sustainable changes.
